About wall design and painting.

Walls are the largest surfaces in any room, and the way they are finished sets its mood. We design them as part of the room: a calm palette of colours, a feature wall behind the bed or the TV, panelling, textures, wallpaper, stone or wood cladding, and art and lighting to bring them to life.

Painting is the last trade, done once the civil work, electrical, ceilings and carpentry are complete, so the walls stay clean and even. We help you choose colours and finishes that suit the light in each room and the wear its walls will see.

How we work. On finishes and civil work, step by step.

  1. Site visit

We measure the space and check the walls, floors, ceilings, wiring and plumbing already there.

  2. Plan and choose

We plan the work and help you choose the ceiling, lighting, flooring, wall finishes and colours, with a detailed BOQ.

  3. Civil work first

Changes to walls and openings, plumbing and electrical are done before any finish, so nothing has to be opened up again.

  4. Finishes and quality check

The false ceiling, flooring, walls and paint, then a quality check of every surface before handover.

Questions. About wall design and painting.

What is a feature wall?

A single wall finished differently from the rest of the room, with a colour, texture, wallpaper, panelling or cladding, to draw the eye. It often sits behind the bed, the TV or the dining table.

Which paint finish should I choose?

Matt finishes hide small flaws and feel soft; satin and sheen finishes are easier to wipe clean, which suits kitchens, children's rooms and busy areas. We suggest the finish for each wall.

Can you help choose colours by Vastu?

Yes. Vastu links colours to directions, and we can bring that into the palette for each room alongside its light and its design.

Is wallpaper a good idea in the monsoon?

Wallpaper suits dry, well-ventilated walls; a wall prone to damp needs the cause fixed first. We check the walls before suggesting it.

Can you repaint a home we already live in?

Yes. We plan the work room by room and protect the furniture and floors while we paint.
